JACK A. WEIL ORIGINATOR OF THE WESTERN
SHIRT
This catalog is dedicated
to our founder and president, Jack A. Weil who has made
invaluable contributions to Western culture.
Papa Jack (1901 - 2008) remained vital and active for over sixty years in the business he founded in the industry he pioneered. He is to western wear what Henry Ford is to the car. Jack A.
introduced the first commercially made shirts with snaps and
bolo ties and is responsible for helping popularize Western
fashion. His original designs have become the mainstay of the
Western look, a fashion uniquely American. These designs are the
longest continuously running fashions in America. Those of us
who know "Papa Jack" are the better for it.
ROCKMOUNT COMMISSIONED TO DESIGN US MEDAL OF HONOR SHIRTS
These special limited edition Rockmount shirts feature the star motif from the Medal of Honor. The Medal of Honor is the highest award bestowed by the President of the United States. It is the customary that the President salute recipients when encountered. In September, 2008 the recipients will be in Denver wearing Rockmount shirts. Clint Eastwood and Ben Stein will receive special awards.

US CONGRESS COMMISSIONS ROCKMOUNT PATRIOTIC SHIRTS FOR POLITICAL CONVENTIONS
The US Congress asked Rockmount to design this special limited edition shirt for Members of Congress. These Rockmount shirts will be worn during the DNC in Denver August 25 - 28, 2008. We have also made special shirts for the RNC for many years. We are proud that both parties wear Rockmount.
